¼ cup Honey
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1-3 tsp Sriracha sauce
1 tbsp Fresh ginger finely chopped
1 clove Garlic minced
2 tsp Cornstarch
For the Stir Fry:

2 tbsp Olive oil
2 Chicken Breast cut into bite-sized pieces
2 Bell pepper sliced into strips
1 Red onion sliced into strips
2 cups Green peas

    This Honey Sriracha Chicken Stir Fry is a sweet, hot and spicy recipe that brings you a dish that is full of flavor and goodness with the best combination of spices, chicken and vegetables stir fried in an Asian wok or frying pan. I always gave way that a stir fry is definitely one of the greatest culinary inventions and a fantastic way to include different vegetables that one may not usually consume.

    Steps to make Honey Sriracha Chicken Stir Fry

    Cook rice

    Cook rice according to package directions.

    Prepare stir fry sauce

    In a jar, combine ¼ cup honey, 2 tablespoons soya sauce, 1-3 tablespoons sriracha (depending on your spice preference), 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger, 1 clove minced garlic and 2 tablespoon cornstarch. Shake everything until well combined then set aside to use later.

    Cook vegetables

    In a medium non-stick pan or wok, over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil and add 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced; 1 red onion, thinly sliced and 2 cups snap peas. Cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly tender. Remove from pan and set aside on a plate, to use later.

    Cook chicken

    If needed, add a little more oil to the same pan and add chicken pieces. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through completely and not pink in the center.

    Add sauce

    Give the stir fry sauce a final shake before pouring into the hot pan. Cook for about 1 minute until sauce begins to bubble and thicken. Remove from heat.

    Add vegetables

    Add the vegetables back into the pan and stir everything to mix evenly.

    Serve hot with a side portion of rice and some extra sriracha drizzled on top!
