Steps to make Mardi Gras Smoothie

1

Combine banana and milk

5

In a food processor or blender blend 1 cup of coconut milk, 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein and 1 frozen banana until smooth. Divide into 3 portions.

2

Prepare purple layer

3

In one third of the milk mixture add 2 oz blueberries and blend again until smooth. Add a few ice cubes to thicken and pour into a large serving glass.

3

Prepare green layer

5

Rinse the blender well and return a second portion of the milk mixture along with 1 cup of spinach and a few more ice cubes. Blend until smooth and the spinach is completely broken apart. Pour this over the layer of blackberry, milky mixture. Take care not to mix the two layers.

4

Prepare yellow layer

2

Rinse the food processor one more time and return the final third of milky mixture along with a touch of yellow food coloring and blend once or twice to combine. Finally, pour this over the green layer.
