I love this Mexican Salad in a Jar which not only tastes delicious and is packed with classic Mexican ingredients like black beans, cilantro and tortilla chips. Jars make great storage containers and they are easy to clean too.
I start this recipe by dividing the ingredients into two separate salad jars. I like to layer the ingredients into the jar starting with lettuce, followed by corn, black beans, tomatoes, cheese, chips and cilantro. Place the lid on the jar and store the salad in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat it. Top with your favorite Mexican style dressing and season with salt and pepper.
