To make the Mulled Uzvar – Dried Fruit Compote, you will need the following ingredients:
Place 12 ounces sun-dried fruits in a colander and rinse them under cold running water.
In a large pot, place the rinsed dried fruits. Add 12 cups water and bring to a simmer. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and add in 3 cloves and 1 tablespoon poppy seeds. Stir the compote and set aside for about 20 minutes to cool.
Stir in 3-4 tablespoons honey and leave to cool completely.
