Tandoori chicken
Tandoori chicken is one of my favorite takeout dishes when I order food from my local Indian restaurant. Tandoori chicken is a mouth-watering dish which involves marinating chicken in a yogurt marinade. Traditionally cooked in a special clay oven called a tandoor, you can cook it on the grill to achieve a charred coating.
Start by marinating slashed chicken thighs with lemon juice, paprika and onion. Make a yogurt marinade by combining yogurt, garlic and ginger with spices. Marinate the chicken for a minimum of one hour before cooking on a grill. Serve with rice or flatbread and a fresh green salad.
To make the Tandoori chicken, you will need the following ingredients:

Recipe Reviews
Another perfect creation by my all time favorite meat lover Jeff! Keep up the good work my man.
Nicely done I would've never thought to make something this tasty on my own thanks for sharing the recipe with us.
HUGE crowd pleaser my entire family was obsessed with how this chicken turned out and were begging me for the recipe lol.
Lemon kinda makes it too zest so I narrowed it down to half a lemon instead of two large ones.
Kinda spicy but that's how I like it! Even dabbed a bit of hot sauce on the top for more of a kick I really do love me som Indian dinners.

I always thought all indian food would be too spicy for me but this is actually the best combination of flavors for chicken i've seen in a long time, grateful i found this recipe.
Goes great with some blue cheese deep or just some potatoes and sourcream on the side.
Loved this I served it with baked sweet potatoes and some parmesan cheese too.
So many chicken thighs..how many people is this recipe supposed to be for?
What is garam masala and where can I buy it?
Instead of using greek yogurt I used plain white because it doesn't have a weird after taste.
