½ Apples green, grated
½ pound Ground chicken
1 tsp Dried rosemary or 2 tsp fresh
2 tbsp Mayonnaise Olive Oil
1 tbsp Mustard Yellow
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
2 Hamburger buns whole wheat, split and toasted
For the Green Apple Slaw:
¼ head Cabbage shredded
½ Apples green,cut into matchsticks
4 tbsp Mayonnaise Olive Oil
2 tbsp Rice wine vinegar
¼ tsp Salt
Black pepper to taste
1 handful Parsley fresh, chopped

Prepare burger patty seasoning

In a small bowl, stir mayonnaise, mustard, rosemary, salt and pepper together.

Add apple

Grate ½ an apple into the bowl and mix well to combine.

Add chicken

Add ground chicken and mix together. Be careful to not overmix as the meat will become tough.

Grill burgers

Shape mixture into 2 burger patties and cook on the grill over low heat for 5-7 minutes per side until a meat thermometer reads an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from grill.

Prepare slaw

Toss apple, cut into matchsticks and cabbage together.

Add slaw dressing

In a small mixing bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, vinegar, salt and pepper together and pour it over cabbage mix. Add parsley and toss everything together to combine well. Slaw tastes best after resting for a few minutes to absorb the juices and flavors.

Place a burger patty inside a toasted burger bun and top with slaw salad, before serving.
