This Burrito “Bowl” Jar Salad is one of my favorite quick lunches with a Mexican twist! This salad is simple to prepare and will be a real treat come lunchtime when you shake it up and enjoy!
This salad is so easy to make, start by layering the ingredients into a mason jar in the following order: dressing, black beans, corn, avocado, cooked rice, romaine lettuce and Cheddar cheese. Screw the lid on the jar and chill in the refrigerator. When you are ready to eat the salad, shake the jar well until the contents are fully mixed.
To make my version of Burrito “Bowl” Jar Salad, you will need the following ingredients:
In the bottom of a mason jar, add 2 tablespoons of your preferred dressing.
Add the ingredients in layers in the following order: ¼ cup of black beans, ¼ cup of corn, ¼ chopped avocado, ⅓ cup of rice, 1 cup of chopped romaine lettuce and 1 tablespoon of shredded Cheddar cheese.
Screw the lid on the jar and chill in the refrigerator until serving.
When you are ready to eat, shake the jar well to mix the contents! Enjoy!
