Everyone should have a recipe for Classic Deviled Eggs, wouldn’t you agree? Deviled eggs were a staple appetizer at 1970s parties and I am delighted that they are making a comeback. I am so happy to share my favorite recipe with you today.

To make these deviled eggs, start by boiling and halving eggs. Scoop out the egg yolks and combine them with mayo, vinegar and mustard. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Transfer the yolk filling to the egg white halves and sprinkle with paprika and dill before serving. Enjoy!

Steps to make Classic Deviled Eggs

Boil eggs

Hard boil 6 eggs in a pot of boiling water. Once cooked, fill the pot with cold water and leave to cool. Peel gently so the whites stay intact.

Half eggs and remove yolk

Cut the boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and transfer them to a small bowl. Place the whites on a serving platter.

Prepare filling

Use a fork to mash the yolks. Add ¼ cup of mayo, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of mustard. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

Fill eggs

Fill the egg white halves with the egg yolk mixture just before serving.

Serve

Serve the deviled eggs sprinkled with dill and paprika.
