Fried Oyster Mushrooms

I cannot get enough of these Fried Oyster Mushrooms! I love them for breakfast with a poached egg or for lunch on toast or even for dinner in an omelette or stirred through pasta or piled on top of a steak. My top tip when cooking mushrooms – don’t chop them too thinly. Thicker pieces will cook and absorb flavors better.

It couldn’t be simpler to make these mushrooms – start by melting butter in a skillet. Add garlic and place the mushrooms on top in a single layer. I usually cook these in two batches. Cook the first batch of mushrooms until they are golden on the bottom before turning them over. Add green onions and season well. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Enjoy at any meal time!

Delicious love oysters so much but they are very difficult to perfect because if you don't cook them right they can taste like pure sea water which is gross.

How are oysters vegan though? I thought that they don't eat any animals.. oyster is a living thing too.

Anyone second guessing this, don't. The taste and texture is brilliant and you can serve it with some lime on the side.
