Jello Oranges will brighten up your April Fools day this year! This recipe is one of my favorite ones to make for the annual prankster’s holiday because it is so easy! And people love the illusion of these jello filled orange segments.
Start by halving some oranges and hollowing out the orange fruit. Ensure that only the peel is left. Make jello by following the package instructions. Pour the jello into the orange halves. The peel acts as a jello mould. Leave to set in the refrigerator. Serve once the jello has set!
To make Jello Oranges, you will need the following ingredients:
Cut each of the oranges in half.
Hollow the orange halves using a spoon and knife. Make sure there aren’t any holes in the peel. Place the orange halves in a muffin tray.
Follow package directions to make jello.
Pour jello into each orange half.
Place the oranges in the refrigerator until set.
Slice and enjoy your family’s reaction!
Jello Oranges are an exciting way to trick your family this April Fools Day! Please remember to tag #CookMeRecipes in any of your April Fools posts this year!

Jello oranges is something I never even pictured before, but I'm glad I found it, going to be making this a lot more often because it's the most unique dessert i've ever seen.
Used orange jello instead to prank a friend and it worked! Happy about the recipe, thx for sharing.
Shared this idea with my entire class (I'm a teacher) and now they are all going to be making this and bringing it in on the last day of school :)
Wow this took super duper long to make and wait for the jello. Tasty but honestly the time is just too much.
