Low-Carb Chocolate Cookies is a perfect choice if you are a dessert devotee but want to support a healthy diet. These homemade chocolate keto cookies are flourless, refined sugar-free, and absolutely delicious!

In this recipe, I used almond flour and sesame seed flour. The combination of these two ingredients gives the cookies a delicate crumb and an amazing crunch. Moreover, these cookies are chocolate and topped with a chocolate drizzle and sprinkled with sesame seeds for a finishing touch. And I am sure they will be a hit with all chocolate lovers, whether on a diet or not. These delicious cookies are pretty easy to make too. Just mix the listed ingredients, shape in a log, then freeze, slice and bake. Easy and healthy? Count us in!

Steps to make Low-Carb Chocolate Cookies

Cream butter and cream cheese

In a bowl with a hand mixer, cream together ¼ cup butter and 2 tablespoons cream cheese. Add ⅓ cup low-carb sugar and ¼ teaspoon salt and cream until light and fluffy.

Add egg, vanilla, and stevia

Add in 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon stevia and beat until combined.

Combine dry ingredients

In a small bowl, combine together with a whisk ¾ cup almond flour, ⅓ cup sesame flour, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, ½ a teaspoon espresso powder, and ¼ teaspoon xanthan gum.

Combine wet and dry ingredients

Add the dry ingredients into the bowl with wet ingredients and mix well. The dough will be soft and sticky.

Make log and chill

Scrape the dough onto a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a rough log. Fold the wrap over the log and roll the dough into a cylinder. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or several days.

Preheat oven

When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350 °F.

Slice into cookies

Slice the cookie dough into 16 cookies and place on a lined baking sheet.

Bake the cookies for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on a baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Make chocolate drizzle

Meanwhile, place 2 ounces dark chocolate, ¼ cup heavy cream, and 1 tablespoon butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat at 30-second intervals until melted. Mix with a whisk until smooth. Place the chocolate mixture into a zip-loc bag and use the scissors to snip off the corner.

Decorate cookies

Drizzle over cooled cookies and sprinkle with sesame seeds, then set aside until set.
