3 cloves Garlic minced
3 tbsp Ketchup
3 tbsp Parsley finely chopped
¾ cup Panko bread crumbs
⅓ cup Milk
1½ tsp Salt or to taste
1½ tsp Dried Italian seasoning
¼ tsp Black pepper ground
½ tsp Ground paprika
For the sauce
¾ cup Ketchup
1½ tsp White vinegar
2½ tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp Onion powder
¼ tsp Black pepper ground
¼ tsp Salt

This Meatloaf with the Best Glaze is a delicious and simple meal that you can easily include in your mid-week recipe bank. I am always amazed at how easy this dish is to prep. Simply mix everything together and bake it for 55 minutes. It gives me time to tidy up the kitchen and make a sauce before dinner!

To make this meatloaf, start by mixing together all of the ingredients for the meatloaf. Add the meat mixture to the loaf pan and gently press it down. Bake the meatloaf in the oven. As it cooks, prepare the sauce by mixing all of the ingredients together in a small bowl. Spread the sauce over the meatloaf before returning the pan to the oven and baking. Heat oven and prepare a loaf pan

Preheat the oven to 375 °F and line a loaf pan with non stick parchment paper.

Make meatloaf mixture

Place 2 pounds of ground beef in a large bowl with a chopped onion, 2 eggs, 3 minced garlic cloves, 3 tablespoons each of ketchup and chopped parsley, ¾ cup of bread crumbs, ⅓ cup of milk, 1½ teaspoons each of salt and Italian seasoning, ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper and ½ a teaspoon of ground paprika. Mix all the ingredients together with your hands until fully combined.

Shape the meatloaf

Place the mixture in the 9x5-inch loaf pan. Press it down and shape the meatloaf evenly.

Cook in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Make sauce

Place ¾ cup of ketchup in a small bowl. Add 1½ teaspoons of white vinegar, 2½ tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ a teaspoon of onion powder, ¼ teaspoon each of salt and ground black pepper. Mix well.

Take the pan from the oven and brush the top with the sauce.
