You’d think there’s one way to make Pork Fried Rice, however my families original Chinese recipe, is the right way! I have adapted it to American flavors and tastes, yet still keeping that authentic Chinese feel.
I make this dish weekly for myself and my friends love finding the leftovers in the fridge, when they come over.
To make Pork Fried Rice, you will need the following ingredients:
Melt the butter, in a large skillet, over a medium heat. Stir in and cook the carrot, broccoli, green onion and frozen peas, for 7-10 minutes, until the pork is cooked through. Remove pork from the mixture to a bowl and return skillet to a medium heat.
Scramble egg in the skillet, until completely set.
Return the pork to the mixture in the skillet.
Stir in the rice, peas, soya sauce, garlic powder and ground ginger and continue cooking and stirring for about 7-10 minutes, until heated right through.
Serve hot!
