If you are looking for a healthy salad this fall, this is your recipe. This Smoked Salmon Salad is a festive fall salad with a mix of arugula, baby spinach, and microgreens, avocado packed with healthy acids and fiber, cucumber for freshness, and red onion for crunch. And of course, the smoked wild salmon. And don’t forget about the tangy apple cider vinegar and olive oil dressing. It’s amazingly simple and delicious!
What makes the salad stand out is that the recipe calls for using simple ingredients and it is prepared in just 5 minutes! And when it comes to simple ingredients, be sure to choose the best. That is why I try to buy wild-caught and cold-smoked salmon, because it’s higher in nutrients and preserves healthy fats, omegas, and minerals.
To prepare this Smoked Salmon Salad, you will need the following ingredients:
In a salad bowl, place 1 pack salad mix and 1 small handful microgreens. Tear or cut salmon into smaller pieces if you wish and add to the greens.
Add ½ sliced English cucumber, 1 diced avocado, and ½ thinly sliced red onion.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds and freshly ground pepper. Pour over 2 tablespoons apple cider white vinegar and 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
Give the salad a gentle toss and serve.
This Smoked Salmon Salad is packed with healthy ingredients. Try one of my favorite ways to serve the smoked salmon and come back to leave notes on the recipe. We always love to hear from you, so post your pics and tag us #cookmerecipes if you make this recipe too.
