To make this recipe, start by combining banana and wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients and fold in walnuts. Transfer to a baking pan and spread out evenly. Top with slices of banana. Bake in the oven. You can serve this whichever way you prefer. For more liquid oatmeal, serve immediately after baking. Otherwise, let the oatmeal cool completely, then slice into bars.
