My method is simple, with only a couple of ingredients, so you’ll soon remember this by heart. Then you’ll always have a beautiful pile of fragrant, coconutty rice to accompany your curries and other dishes!
To make the Asian Coconut Rice, you will need the following ingredients:
Add the coconut milk, sugar, water, and salt to a saucepan. Over a low heat, stir until the sugar dissolves, before adding the rice and mixing.
Bring the pan to a boil over medium heat. Once it starts to boil, place a lid on the pan and lower the heat. Simmer the rice until it’s tender, around 18-20 minutes.
