This Easy Baked Beef Hash with Potatoes is one of my very first, original recipes and an idea and combination that I came up with one night in college.
With a few leftover ingredients in the fridge and a hungry belly, I decided to chop it all up and through it together in a large cast iron skillet and my boys were fed in under an hour. I felt like a genius – now you can too!
To make Easy Baked Beef Hash with Potatoes, you will need the following ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 375 °F and generously grease a shallow 2-quart baking dish or large, oven-safe skillet with oil or butter.
In a mixing bowl, add the potatoes, onions, peppers, celery, chopped beef, dry mustard, salt, garlic powder, and thyme and mix it all well, with the need of broth.
Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and pack it tightly into each edge and corner of the dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45-55 minutes until potatoes are cooked and tender.
Uncover and change the settings to “broil” until the hash has browned.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
