Cilantro Lime Wings are one of my favorite things to make on a lazy Saturday when we spend the day at home watching movies or sports. I make a huge bath of these wings which I serve with plenty of napkins to wipe sticky hands. The zingy sweet sauce is a classic combination of lime, honey and hot sauce with the freshness of chopped cilantro.
Start by making a marinade for the chicken wings by combining olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, and paprika. Mix with the chicken wings and chill in the refrigerator. After a few hours, bake the wings in the oven. While the wings bake, make a glaze by melting butter in a small saucepan. Mix honey, hot sauce, and lime juice. Turn off heat and stir in the cilantro before mixing with the chicken wings before serving.
To make Cilantro Lime Wings, you will need the following ingredients:
Whisk together ¼ cup of olive oil, juice of two limes, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin and ½ a teaspoon of paprika.
Mix in 3 pounds of chicken wings and place in the refrigerator to marinate for up to 4 hours. Drain and pat the wings dry with a paper towel.
Preheat the oven to 425 °F. Line a large baking sheet with a metal rack.
Season the wings with salt and pepper. Place the marinated wings on the wire rack and bake for 50 minutes.
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan. MIx in 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of hot sauce and the juice of one lime. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of cilantro.
Transfer the cooked wings to a large serving bowl. Pour the sauce over the baked wings and toss well with a tongs until the wings are fully coated.
Serve these wings warm.

I absolutely love making these Cilantro Lime Wings for our family movie nights! The kids devour them in no time and the sauce is just superb. It’s super easy too, which helps a lot on busy weekends. They’re a total hit!

These wings are simply superb. Made a massive batch for the fam last weekend, and they vanished in no time. Perfect combo of zingy and sweet, just how we like it when chillin' at home.

My family is Hispanic so we LOVE everything with lime and lemon in it or on it. I made this for my familia with some brown rice and plantains, EVERYONE was begging me to cook this atleast once a week afterwards, loved it.
Lime made my tongue burn almost haha, less lime for me next time for sure.
Can't get over how good these are made them for my hubby and he fell in loveeee with these lime wings.
My abuela (Grandma for english speakers) was licking the bones after i made her these, LOL!
Absolutely delicious, can't wait to have this again next week going to make it with nachos and salsa.
Took a long time to make these and they were slightly undercooked so had to cook them longer, when they did finish they were good though i recommend baking them longer than just an hour.
Totally making these instead of the sunkist wings over and over again, i'm obsessed.
