Cilantro Lime Wings

Share

Cilantro Lime Wings are one of my favorite things to make on a lazy Saturday when we spend the day at home watching movies or sports. I make a huge bath of these wings which I serve with plenty of napkins to wipe sticky hands. The zingy sweet sauce is a classic combination of lime, honey and hot sauce with the freshness of chopped cilantro.

Start by making a marinade for the chicken wings by combining olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, and paprika. Mix with the chicken wings and chill in the refrigerator. After a few hours, bake the wings in the oven. While the wings bake, make a glaze by melting butter in a small saucepan. Mix honey, hot sauce, and lime juice. Turn off heat and stir in the cilantro before mixing with the chicken wings before serving.

To make Cilantro Lime Wings, you will need the following ingredients:

My family is Hispanic so we LOVE everything with lime and lemon in it or on it. I made this for my familia with some brown rice and plantains, EVERYONE was begging me to cook this atleast once a week afterwards, loved it.

Took a long time to make these and they were slightly undercooked so had to cook them longer, when they did finish they were good though i recommend baking them longer than just an hour.

Saw this and thought that it looked kinda difficult to make but the cilantro wings with lime are actually easier than the Mongolian wings in my opinion.
