I make this Crockpot Southwest Turkey Chili every to have after our annual family walk in the woods. We organise the outing with my sister’s family each year and we go for a long walk in the woods near our house to clear the cobwebs! Before we leave, I always put this chili in the crockpot and leave it cooking as we walk in the woods.
This turkey chili couldn’t be easier to prepare – start by browning the turkey in a skillet. Then place the browned turkey in the crockpot with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on high for about 3 ½ hours and serve with your favorite toppings.

In a large skillet, brown the turkey gently over medium heat.
Place all of the ingredients including the browned turkey in the crockpot. Stir to combine.
Place the lid on the crockpot. Cook on high for 3 ½ to 4 hours until the sweet potato cubes are tender.
