What is so good about these Korean Chicken Wings? Maybe it’s the crispy battered skins on the outer layer, or the flavor balance between the sweet and the spicy from the honey and sriracha or maybe it’s just that you can’t go wrong with chicken wings and we’ve tried to help by writing a recipe that is simple and easy to follow for the best tasting wings in town!

To make Korean Chicken Wings, you will need the following ingredients:

    2

    Coat chicken

    3

Dip each chicken piece from 1½ lb chicken into the prepared mixture and make sure to coat evenly, all over.

    3

    Heat oil

In a large deep skillet, over medium heat, pour 1½-inches of vegetable oil and bring the temperature of the oil to 350 °F and shimmering.

    Cook chicken

    20

Working in batches, carefully add about 3-4 chicken pieces to the hot oil and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until cooked in the center golden brown on the outside. Once cooked, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels and repeat with remaining chicken pieces.

    5

    Prepare sauce

    2

In a mixing bowl, whisk ¼ cup ketchup, ¼ cup sriracha, 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice together and combine until smooth.

    6

    Add chicken to sauce

    3

Toss cooked and drained chicken pieces in the prepared sauce to coat well.

    7

    Serve

Garnish with sprinkles of sesame seeds for the Korean touch and serve hot, warm or at room temperature, if you wish!

Didn't use so much honey as listed instead put only one tablespoon cause 2 was already sounding far to sweet for me but these were great nonetheless.

WOW these were really tasty, not so much spicy I actually found them kinda sweet compared to most spicy Asian foods I've had.

Chicken wings were a bit dry so not a fan as much as I liked the pickleback ones they tasted a lil' better to me, but my husband loved these so I guess I'll be making them again.

Takes quite a long time to make these and they are kinda hard to perfect, hopefully I'll get them just right the next time around though.

Does anyone know where to buy sriracha sauce? :( I couldn't find it in my local tesco, recommendations?

    Tamia Wead

Brought them to work as leftovers and ate them cold, have to say they were still really flavorful and yummy even though they weren't warmed up.

I poured soy sauce on the top of these and they came out really well, I'd actually say even tastier with the soy sauce on the top.

    Addilynn Bushko

I squeezed some lime juice instead of lemon on the top of these and had them with sticky white rice, brilliant recipe.

Loved these Korean chicken wings more than any American styled ones, they are both sweet and savory which is exactly what I was looking for :)
