These Peking Pork Wraps served in tortillas are absolutely divine. I like to cook universally inspired dishes sometimes to encourage my family to try different flavors and open them up to the tastes of different cultures. This recipe quickly became a weekly favorite with its juicy tender pork wrapped in soft tortillas with cucumber slices, toasted sesame oil, thinly sliced green onions and a hoisin sauce, that when put together, make a completely authentic dish for you to serve.

Steps to make Peking Pork Wraps

Dress cucumbers

In a medium bowl, add cucumbers, sugar and ¼ teaspoon salt and toss to coat and combine. Set aside.

Season pork

Season pork by rubbing generously with sesame oil and ¼ teaspoon salt and pepper each, all over.

Cook pork

Heat a grill or grill pan to medium high and grill pork for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through and reaching 145 °F in the center.

Warm tortillas

Wrap tortillas in damp paper towels and microwave on high heat for 2 minutes until warm and pliable.

Drain cucumbers

Drain cucumbers from marinade.

Slice pork

Evenly and thinly slice the rested pork.

Prepare wraps

Evenly divide pork slices among the tortilla and top with dressed cucumber and green onion slices.

Add hoisin sauce

Drizzle 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce over and roll tortillas to wrap closed.

Serve

Serve with additional hoisin sauce for dipping, if you wish.
