For one skinny margarita:
Kosher Salt coarse
1 Lime cut into wedges
Ice cubes
1 ½ oz Lime juice fresh, about the juice from 1 ½ limes, or 3 tbsp
1 oz Orange juice fresh, about the juice of ½ medium orange, or 2 tbsp
1 oz Tequila blanco silver , about 2 tbsp
1 tsp Agave syrup
For a pitcher of skinny margaritas:
Kosher Salt coarse
1 Lime cut into wedges
Ice cubes
¾ cup + 3 tbsp Lime juice fresh, juice from 7 ½ limes
⅔ cup Orange juice fresh, juice from 2 ½ medium oranges
⅔ cup Tequila blanco silver
1 tbsp+ 2 tsp Agave syrup

Skinny Margarita


This refreshing Skinny Margarita is the perfect drink to enjoy in the spring and summer months. Naturally sweetened with agave nectar and made with real orange and lime juice and a good splash of tequila, this tastes just like the real thing. Don’t worry if you don’t have a shaker, just add everything to a pitcher and stir well. 

This is such a simple recipe. First, rim your glasses in salt and fill with ice. Second, measure the orange juice, lime juice, tequila, and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker or pitcher and mix well. Last, pour into your glasses and garnish with a wedge of lime and orange. Enjoy the perfect cocktail to sip on with friends and family!

Steps to make Skinny Margarita


Prepare glasses


Pour a layer of coarse kosher salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of an 8-ounce glass and then coat in salt. Add ice cubes to the glass and set it aside.


Make cocktail


In a cocktail shaker or pitcher, add ¾ cup + 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice, ⅔ cup fresh orange juice, ⅔ cup silver tequila, and 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons agave nectar. Shake or stir to combine well.



Pour the skinny margarita into the prepared glasses. Serve garnished with lime and orange wedges.
