I love this Tender Salsa Beef. It is a perfect recipe for my slow cooker. I’m a busy mom and I love any recipes which allow me to make a delicious dinner for my troops with very little effort in the kitchen. In winter I use my slow cooker at least once a week and this salsa beef makes an appearance at least once a month!
It is so simple to make – simply combine all the ingredients together in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on the lowest heat setting until the meat is tender and falling apart. Serve with rice and if you like heat, top with sliced jalapeno peppers.
To make Tender Salsa Beef, you will need the following ingredients:
Place 1 ½ pounds of beef, 2 cups of salsa, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 minced garlic clove in a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours until the meat is tender and falling apart.
Serve with hot cooked brown rice and top with sliced jalapeno peppers if you like extra spice!
