To make this Unstuffed Cabbage Roll, you will need the following ingredients:
In a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook and stir 2 pounds ground beef and 1 chopped onion, breaking down the lumps of meat until browned, 5-7 minutes. Then drain and discard grease.
Add in 1 head chopped cabbage, 2 (14½-oz) cans diced tomatoes, 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce, ½ cup water, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper. Stir and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer until cabbage is soft and tender for about 30 minutes.
