Steps to make Easy Veal Marsala with Mushrooms

Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 200 °F.

Season veal

Season veal cutlets with salt and pepper.

Coat veal in flour

Place flour in a shallow plate or bowl, and coat seasoned veal cutlets.

Cook veal

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil and add veal cutlets. Cook in batches, turning once, for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

Keep warm

Transfer to an ovenproof dish and place in preheated oven to keep warm.

Cook mushrooms

Return skillet to medium heat and melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring continuously for 5 minutes until soft and browned.

Add liquid

Add Marsala wine and chicken broth and stir to combine.

Cook sauce

Increase heat to high and continue cooking until sauce has reduced to half.

Flavor

Add lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Stir to mix through.

Add veal

Return veal to skillet and coat in sauce.
