I love this Basic Mason Jar Salad Recipe as I can prep my salads for the week each weekend. Mason jars are such a useful way to carry your lunch to work each day and avoid spilling. I have a selection of mason jars and I layer up my weekly salads in each one, ready to go.
I like to mix things up so I have given examples of what I use in my mason jar salads. I always start with dressing at the bottom of the jar. Next I add my protein of choice, followed by chopped veggies, seeds and nuts and I pack in romaine lettuce nice and tight. I make a week’s worth of lunches each weekend and I am ready for the week!
