Then whip the egg whites until they hold stiff peaks and fold in vanilla extract, chopped pecans, and chocolate chips. Spoon the dough onto a baking sheet and pop it into the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 °F, line two baking sheets with foil and grease the foil with butter.
