This Low Carb Broiled Sesame Cod is a staple, dinner for one, in my home. I get home from work and with a quick prep time of just 15 minutes, I have my family favorite dinner dish, ready. It’s fresh and healthy and full of flavour.
You can enjoy it as a meal on it’s own, or on top of cooked, glass noodles, whatever you choose, you will fall in love! This recipe is light and easy and can serve perfectly as a first course at your dinner party. Although simple and easy, this Sesame Cod always impresses!
To make Broiled Sesame Cod, you will need the following ingredients:
Preheat the oven broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Lin a broil pan with aluminum foil.
Place the cod fillets on the foil, and brush will with the butter, covering both sides. Season with lemon juice, tarragon, and black pepper, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Broil the fish in the preheated broiler for about 10 minutes, until the flesh turns opaque and white, and the fish flakes easily.
Serve hot as is, or with a portion of glass noodles
