Edible Cookie Dough

Recipe Description

This Edible Cookie Dough is made without eggs and uses heat-treated flour, making it absolutely safe to eat straight from the bowl. Sweet and creamy, this comforting treat instantly brings back memories of childhood.

This recipe is incredibly simple to make. First, you need to heat-treat the flour before you begin any mixing. To do this, spread 1 cup flour on a rimmed baking sheet. I recommend lining your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy transport. Bake in a preheated 350 °F oven for 7 minutes or until the temperature registers 165 °F on an instant-read thermometer. Cool completely and sift before preparing the cookie dough. Once done, whip together the softened butter, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Next, mix in the milk and vanilla extract. Add in the toasted flour and blend until just combined. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Enjoy right away or store in the fridge for up to one week.

To make the Edible Cookie Dough, you will need the following ingredients:

Man, this Edible Cookie Dough is the bomb! My kids went nuts when I whipped it up. Reminds me of those carefree days back when I snuck cookie dough from the bowl. Super easy to make too. I kinda messed up on the flour but it still turned out amazing! Definitely gonna make this again!
