We love this Whole Wheat Spaghetti with Broccoli, Chilli and Lemon recipe. It’s 100% vegan. It is super healthy and full of flavor. The combination of broccoli, lemon and the slight heat from the chilli is a real winner. I always use whole wheat spaghetti for this as it’s healthier and I prefer it, but you could easily substitute it if you prefer normal spaghetti.
It is so simple to whip up this dish which makes it a great midweek recipe. Start by cooking the spaghetti according to the package directions. As the pasta cooks, sauté some garlic in olive oil and add a large pinch of chilli. If you like a lot of heat, add extra chilli. Once the spaghetti is cooked, add it to the pan along with the broccoli, juice and zest of a lemon and salt. Mix well and there you have it. Delicious vegan food in only 20 minutes.

Spaghetti needed a lot more time to cook, 15 minutes is not nearly enough.
I'm in love with this whole wheat pasta!! I didn't add the chilie though because I can't handle anything spicy even by a little.

Would recommend adding a lot more salt and chili flakes or else it will turn out really bland.
