Preheat the oven to 350 °F and grease a 9×13-inch cake pan.

Prepare batter

To a large bowl, add 1 box lemon cake mix, 3 extra-large eggs, â…“ cup melted butter, and 1 cup milk. Using a hand mixer, beat the ingredients at low speed until combined. Increase the speed to medium and beat for another 2 minutes until smooth.

Pour batter into cake pan

Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

Poke holes

While the cake is still in the pan, use the end of a wooden spoon or a chopstick to poke holes about 1 inch apart all over the cake.

Combine condensed milk and pineapple

To a medium bowl, add 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1 can crushed pineapple along with its juice and mix to combine.

Pour over cake

Pour the prepared mixture over the warm cake.

Cover and transfer to a fridge for 2 hours or until chilled.
