Persimmon Jam

Share

Sweet and sticky, this Persimmon Jam will add a completely new flavor to your breakfast table! Persimmons are probably something you’ve seen in a market or Asian store at some point, but maybe didn’t know what they were called. They’re an orange-colored round fruit, known for their sweet, honey-like flavor and are popular in the US northwest, as well as Asia where they’re produced.

This is a real easy persimmon jam recipe. Just add everything to a pot, boil, simmer and then leave to set. Buy some crusty bread and spread the jam over, or add it as a compote into your porridge or yogurt. Sweet and delicious!
