2 tbsp plus 1½ tsp Lemon juice fresh
1 tsp Baking soda
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Dates finely chopped
½ cup Vegetable oil
1 Eggs
1 cup Confectioners' sugar sifted

    Preheat oven to 350 °F and grease and flour a 10x15x1-inch jelly roll pan; set aside.

    In a bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves. Set aside.

    In a third, large bowl, whisk sugar, dates, oil and eggs until combined.

    In a small mixing bowl, whisk remaining lemon juice and confectioners sugar, together, until smooth.
