Greek Nachos
My Greek Nachos recipe is inspired by my travels in Greece. I fell in love with Greek food and flavor combinations when I was there. Fresh salads with tomatoes, olives and feta. Sprinkled with the freshest oregano, mint and olive oil with a slight hint of spice. Invariably, our meals there featured the most famous Greek ingredient in some form: feta cheese.Â
Feta makes an appearance as a topping in this dish. Start by crisping some pita chips in the oven. Make a mint sauce from yogurt, mint, lemon juice and olive oil. Assemble the dish by placing the pita chips on a plate. Top with a selection of your favorite toppings and drizzle the mint sauce on top. Serve and watch these disappear!
