Microwave Mug Pizza recipe
My kids absolutely adore this Microwave Mug Pizza recipe. Quick, easy and safe for kids to make – it is a perfect Saturday night treat! Feel free to go wild with the toppings for this mug pizza ed-hrvatski.com. I keep it simple with pepperoni and cheese but you can add chopped onions, olives or mushrooms if you prefer!
Start by mixing the “pizza base” ingredients in the bottom of a mug. Spoon marinara sauce onto the base ingredients and gently spread it out over the surface. Scatter your pizza toppings onto the marinara sauce and microwave until the contents rise and the toppings are bubbling hot. Enjoy!

Steps to make Microwave Mug Pizza

Make the pizza base

Place 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, ⅛ of a teaspoon of baking powder, 1/16 of a teaspoon of baking soda and ⅛ teaspoon of salt in a large microwave-safe mug. Mix well until fully combined.

Add milk and oil

Stir in 3 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix until just combined. Don’t worry if it’s a bit lumpy.

Add marinara sauce

Spoon a tablespoon of marinara sauce on top of the batter. Spread it out but don’t mix.

Add pizza toppings

Scatter 1 generous tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese, 5 mini pepperonis and ½ a teaspoon of dried Italian herbs on top.

Cook in the microwave

Cook in the microwave for between 1 minute 10 seconds and 1 minute 20 seconds until it rises and the toppings are bubbling hot.

Leave to cool for a couple of minutes and enjoy!

Love things like this I made this and the jelly donut recipe yesterday as a quick lunch and turned out fantastic would really recommend it.
Great snack but not more than that, it's a very small portion.

It overfilled and there were burnt pieces on the top I don't get what I did wrong i literally followed the instructions to the T...
Microwave recipes aren't usually too tasty. This was good but still had that microwave effect in which it was cold in the middle and warmish everywhere else.
Happy to finally make something without having to clean a bunch of dishes for making it.
