Pasta with Tuna Sauce
Inspired by the classic Italian pasta dish, this Pasta with Tuna Sauce recipe is a real weeknight winner. Fast and easy to make, it calls for pantry staples you might already have on hand. Think canned tuna, extra-virgin olive oil, tomato passata, and pasta. And just a few fresh ingredients – chili, garlic and ginger. Did I mention it takes less than 30 minutes to put together? Delicious weeknight meal made simple!
Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add the parsley, garlic, chili, and ginger. Cook, stirring, until slightly soft. Add in the tomato passata and cook for a few minutes. Then add the tuna and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Simmer for 8 minutes. That’s your sauce. Set some linguine to boil in salted water. Drain the pasta and toss it with the sauce. Serve piping hot with a sprinkle of parsley. Enjoy!
