This Two Ingredient Marshmallow Fudge is a super simple sweet treat or dessert for Valentine’s Day. You just need two ingredients to make this recipe – chocolate chips and marshmallows. I use dark chocolate chips, but you can use semi-sweet for a sweeter fudge. You can also substitute the marshmallows for 7 ounces of marshmallow fluff if you prefer.
To make the fudge, start by melting chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Heat marshmallows in the microwave until they puff up. Stir the melted chocolate into the melted marshmallows. The mixture will start to thicken and set immediately, so stir fast using a metal spoon if possible. Transfer the mixture to a pan, and spread the top until it’s even. Chill in the freezer until firm. Remove the fudge from the pan and cut into squares.
To make Two Ingredient Marshmallow Fudge, you will need the following ingredients:
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
Place 1 bag of chocolate chips in a medium microwave safe bowl and melt for 30 second intervals until smooth and fully melted.
Place marshmallows in a large microwaveable bowl and heat the marshmallows for 30 – 60 seconds or until they puff up.
Stir the melted chocolate into the melted marshmallows straightaway. The mixture will start to thicken so stir quickly and vigorously.
Transfer the fudge mixture to the prepared pan, and spread the top until it’s smooth and even.
Place the fudge in the freezer to set for 30 minutes.
Slice into bars or squares to serve.
Ruined a perfectly good giant marshmallow. Won’t do that again.
