½ cup Pepperoni diced
¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
¼ cup Mushrooms chopped
¼ cup Green pepper finely chopped
2 tbsp Onion finely chopped
1 tsp Dried Italian seasoning
¼ tsp Salt
1 package (8 ounces) Frozen puff pastry refrigerated
1 jar (14 ounces) Pizza sauce warmed

These Calzone Pinwheels are a wonderful party snack that you can even prepare ahead of time and store in the freezer to use for future parties!

I use a 3 cheese filling of mozzarella, ricotta and Parmesan combined with diced pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper and onions rolled inside a prepared pastry dough and cut into round slices shaped like pinwheels. Serve it with a side of pizza dipping sauce for the real deal.

Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 375 °F.

Prepare mixture

In a small mixing bowl, combine mozzarella, ricotta cheese, pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, mushrooms, green pepper, onion, Italian seasoning and salt together.

Prepare dough

Unroll dough and separate into 4 rectangles. Spread the cheese mixture over the rectangles, leaving a ¼-inch border around the edges. Roll up the dough, starting on the shorter side, and pinch seam to seal.

Cut into pinwheels

Using a sharp knife, slice each roll into 4 pieces and place on a greased baking sheet, cut side down.

Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
