Just toss some tuna meat with fresh basil, minced celery and finely chopped onion and dressed in lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Enjoy it in a sandwich or with other salad ingredients.
To make Healthy Mediterranean Tuna Salad, you will need the following ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, use a fork to break apart 5 ounces of tuna meat into very small pieces.
Add 1 tablespoon of chopped basil, ½ stalk of minced celery, 1 finely chopped scallions and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and use a fork to toss all ingredients to combine well.
Add about 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or more, to moisten the salad to your preference.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
