This no-fat Healthy Mediterranean Tuna Salad is great for a quick, low fat lunch to prepare for yourself, even on those busy days. It’s always best to not skip a meal and that is why this recipe just works to fit into your busy schedules.

Just toss some tuna meat with fresh basil, minced celery and finely chopped onion and dressed in lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Enjoy it in a sandwich or with other salad ingredients.

    Break tuna

    In a large mixing bowl, use a fork to break apart 5 ounces of tuna meat into very small pieces.

    Add salad ingredients

    Add 1 tablespoon of chopped basil, ½ stalk of minced celery, 1 finely chopped scallions and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and use a fork to toss all ingredients to combine well.

    Add about 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or more, to moisten the salad to your preference.
