My mom’s recipe simply combines a chicken with potatoes, celery, onion, garlic and bouillon cubes to make a delicious braised chicken casserole. I use a whole chicken cut into 8 pieces for this recipe. You can ask your butcher to prepare the chicken for you if you don’t want to do it yourself. Alternatively, you could use bone-in chicken breasts or legs for the same effect.
