To make these beans, start by bringing a large pan of salted water to a boil. Blanch the green beans in the water for 2 minutes before draining and immersing in ice water. Toss the blanched green beans with the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt and pepper to season and add flavor.
