You’ll be handing out the recipe for these creamy mashed potatoes at the end of the meal. I always use Yukon gold potatoes when I make this recipe but you can use your preferred potato for mashing.
Start by boiling the potatoes. Melt butter with half-and-half in a small saucepan. Drain and mash the potatoes and add the butter/half-and-half mixture and sour cream and chives. Mix gently and serve garnished with freshly chopped chives.
