Churro Chips

These Churro Chips are a sweet crispy take on the traditional Mexican treat. I love the flavor of cinnamon and these churro chips provide a great opportunity to showcase this classic spice. And so easy to make too – simply combine cut up tortillas with butter and cinnamon sugar. And there you have it!

I always cook these in the oven, but if you have an airfryer, it is easy to make them too. Follow the recipe to the “Cook” step and instead of placing them on a baking sheet in the oven, work in batches and place the sugar coated tortillas in the fryer basket in a single layer. Cook each batch at 375 °F for 6 minutes.

To make Churro Chips, you will need the following ingredients:

Using tortilla chips for churro chips was unexpected but i'm delighted to know its possible.

Accidently used salted butter make sure you don't make the same mistake i did or the churro chips will taste kinda salty and not sweet at all.
