Grilled Chicken and Apple Sandwiches

I love to make these Grilled Chicken and Apple Sandwiches for lunch when I am working from home. The flavor combination is like a deli sandwich but you can have it in the comfort of your own kitchen! You can grill these sandwiches in a panini press if you have one or on a hot skillet if you prefer!

Start by mixing chicken, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Swiss cheese, celery and apple together to make the filling. Next assemble the sandwiches by dividing the filling between six slices of bread and topping with six remaining slices. Butter the outside of the sandwich and grill until the cheese melts and the bread is toasted! Enjoy.

No celery for me! I just doubled down on the cheese and it worked like a charm.

When I first saw this I thought it would taste disgusting because apples are sweet and chicken is supposed to be savoury but the flavors blended so well in my mouth..going to be trying out a lot more things from here now.
