These Pickleback Chicken Wings are not just full of the best flavors but full of love too and my best part is seeing my kids get their hands and faces full of this yummy sauce because messy food is always the best food, am I right?

With a sweet and tangy sauce made from pickle juice, honey, sugar, onion powder, paprika and some cayenne pepper. Marinate, add sauce and bake, it’s as easy as that!

    Combine wings and pickle juice

    In a large bowl, soak 3 pounds of chicken wings in 1 cup of pickle juice.

    Preheat the oven to 425 °F and line a large baking sheet with a metal rack.

    In a small mixing bowl, whisk 2 tablespoons of bourbon, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, ½ teaspoon of onion powder, ½ teaspoon of paprika, ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
