Have you ever tried cooking with rose petals? I don’t think many people associate roses with food but I actually love the subtle flavor that rose petals bring to these Rose Petal Cookies. I like to think that this recipe is a gateway to cooking with rose petals. I think you’ll love them once you try them!

Start by combining sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add in eggs and rose water and stir in the rose petals. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add to wet ingredients to make cookie dough. Roll out the dough and cut out around 60 cookies using a cookie cutter. Bake for 6-8 minutes and leave to cool completely before devouring!

I wanted to go all out with these cookies so I used some pink food coloring so they'd be pink and have that rosey smell..perfection.

if you can't handle super sweet things i'd recommend using some brown sugar instead of cane and adding a little less too.

Kaleigh Lemert

Roses don't actually have a taste to them so this is more of an aesthetic pleasing thing.

Aryana Gicker

Well it doesn't taste like roses but it does smell like them and it's good too.

Dalia Dailey

It was fun to make this despite the fact that the roses don't really have any specific taste to them.
