Besides being super easy to make, these tasty pumpkin pinwheels are inexpensive and also have a short ingredient list.

To make these fancy-looking treats, you will need just four simple ingredients. Puff pastry dough, pumpkin puree, salt, and fresh basil leaves. Simply fill, roll, slice and bake! Preheat the oven to 400 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine pumpkin puree and salt

Combine ⅓ cup pumpkin puree and ½ teaspoon salt.

Unroll dough and spread filling over

Unroll the dough and spread the pumpkin filling over it, leaving out the bottom border, and sprinkle with ¼ cup basil leaves.

Roll up dough

Roll up the dough like a swiss roll as tight as possible. Pinch the seam to seal. Cut into 25 equal portions and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pinwheels are golden brown.
