1 cup Cherry tomatoes quartered , or halved grape tomatoes
1 cup Celery sliced
½ cup Scallions sliced
¾ cup Yogurt non-fat plain
¾ cup Mayonnaise low-fat
2 tsp Cider vinegar
1-2 tsp Sugar
¼ tsp Garlic powder
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Black pepper freshly ground
½ cup Cheddar cheese reduced-fat , shredded
½ cup Basil fresh , thinly sliced
3 strips Bacon cooked, crumbled

Layers of basic salad ingredients with Romaine lettuce then frozen peas and yellow bell peppers, grape tomatoes, celery, scallions and a yogurt-mayonnaise with vinegar, garlic powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper salad dressing poured over and finally topped with sprinkles of shredded cheese and bacon bits. Prepare salad

In a large salad bowl, place lettuce in the bottom and layer peas, bell pepper, tomatoes, celery and scallions on top.

Prepare salad dressing

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk yogurt, mayonnaise, vinegar, garlic powder, salt, pepper and sugar to taste, until smooth. Pour a layer of salad dressing, evenly, over the salad.

Add toppings

Top with sprinkles of shredded cheese, basil and crumbled bacon.

Serve

Serve room temperature or chilled from the refrigerator.
