Taco Salad in a Jar

I love to make this Taco Salad in a Jar for picnics. The combination of turkey cooked with taco seasoning and the corn and black beans just says tacos to me. It’s like a deconstructed taco in salad form. Delicious!

Place turkey in a skillet with oil. Season with salt and taco seasoning. Cook until golden and cooked through. Leave to cool for a few minutes. Layer ground turkey, black beans, corn, romaine, cheese, and tomatoes into jars. Pack up your cooler and enjoy this taco salad at a picnic.

Missing the crunch of the taco sadly, its good but the shell really does make a difference.

Made it today for my kids to take to lunch and they came back telling me how all their friends were jealous because they didnt have cool colorful jars lol.

Tasty and unique design for sure but you can't fit too much in a jar so i'd say its not the best if youre going for a full meal, but works if youre going for a lunch or snack type of thing.

Accidently used sunflower oil instead of olive oil but taste was fine.
