Taco Salad in a Jar

I love to make this Taco Salad in a Jar for picnics. The combination of turkey cooked with taco seasoning and the corn and black beans just says tacos to me. It’s like a deconstructed taco in salad form. Delicious!

Place turkey in a skillet with oil. Season with salt and taco seasoning. Cook until golden and cooked through. Leave to cool for a few minutes. Layer ground turkey, black beans, corn, romaine, cheese, and tomatoes into jars. Pack up your cooler and enjoy this taco salad at a picnic.

Missing the crunch of the taco sadly, its good but the shell really does make a difference.

Tasty and unique design for sure but you can't fit too much in a jar so i'd say its not the best if youre going for a full meal, but works if youre going for a lunch or snack type of thing.
