1 tsp Salt
1 Eggs
3½ - 4 cups All-purpose flour
For the Filling:
½ cup Butter melted, plus more for pan
¾ cup Sugar plus more for pan
2 tbsp Cinnamon ground
¾ cup Raisins raisins, walnuts, or pecans, optional
For the Glaze:
4 tbsp Butter
2 cups Powdered sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
3-6 tbsp Water hot

In a large bowl, combine milk, sugar, melted butter, salt and egg.

Add 2 cups flour and mix until combined and smooth.

Transfer to a bowl greased with butter. Cover and set aside for 1 - 1½ hours to rise until doubled in volume. Once risen punch down to release excess air.

Prepare roll

Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface into 15x9-inch rectangle and generously brush butter all over.

Add cinnamon and sugar

In a small bowl combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over the dough.

If using, sprinkle nuts of your choice over the cinnamon and sugar.

Roll up

Roll up the dough, starting at the longer side. Pinch edges to seal and cut into 12-15 slices (rolls).

Prepare baking tray

Coat bottom of baking pan with butter and sugar sprinkles.

Transfer to prepared baking pan and set aside for about 45 minutes to rise until doubled in volume.

Preheat oven to 350 °F.
